Chronicle Herald April 20, 2007 HASEY, Patrick Joseph - 87, Clydesdale, Antigonish Co., died peacefully April 19, 2007, in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in Brown's Mountain, Antigonish Co., he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary Ann (MacKay) Hasey. He was a lifelong resident of Clydesdale where he operated the family farm. He was an avid reader and was an enthusiastic sports fan, especially hockey. Patrick had a keen interest in current affairs and kept updated on news and politics. He is survived by five very special girls, Joanne (Brian) McVicar, Linda (Bill) Pitts, Karen (Gordie) Gullen, Joan (Chris) Matthews, Helen Layes, Antigonish; sisters, Theresa Moore, United States; Josephine, Betty, Ontario; Kaye, Dartmouth; brothers, James, Oshawa; Harold Thompson, British Columbia; many nieces and nephews; very special friend, Irene. He was predeceased by sisters, Mary Hasey, Peggy Pellerine, Gertie Curley; brothers, Danny, Angus "Billy", Alex, and very special nephew, John Gary. Visitation, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Mass of Christian Burial 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Antigonish, Rev. Ray Huntley presiding.
