She was employed by Boston Catholic > Charities for 38 years as a social worker in the field of adoption > and child welfare, during which time she also earned her M.S.W. > from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work (1961). > Residing in the Wollaston section of Quincy, MA, Jeannette's > ministry included the care of her widowed father, serving as a > lector and religious education teacher in her parish, involvement > in Legion of Mary activities, and maintaining the family home.
