Chronicle Herald April 27, 2007 CAMERON, Thomas Kenneth "Tommy" - 81, 6 Whidden St., Antigonish, and formerly of Ashdale, Antigonish Co., died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Alexander and Elsie (Croft) Cameron. He was a leading lineman with Nova Scotia Power for 30 years. He lived on the family farm for over 70 years before relocating to Antigonish. He loved the outdoors, especially his Christmas tree lot. He loved to laugh and to hear and tell a great story. He was an avid card player. He was a member of the Orange Lodge in Denver, Guysborough Co., for over 50 years. He was a former Elder at Lochaber United Church. He was a member of Lochaber Community Development Association (LCDA). Surviving are his wife, the former Nettie McChesney; sons, James (Paula), Yarmouth; Ronald, Halifax; Allan, Antigonish; Glen, Antigonish/Fort McMurray; Brian, at home; daughter, Helen (Guy) Gravel, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Janine, Lloyd, Andre, Laura; brothers, Ian (Evelyn), New Glasgow; Donald (Lil), Chatham, Ont.; sisters, Katherine Fisher, Antigonish; Janet Dagley, Liverpool; Grace MacKay, Lochaber. He was predeceased by son, Lloyd; brother, Allister. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday in St. James United Church, Antigonish, Mr. Keith Selwyn-Smith officiating. Burial in North Lochaber Cemetery.
