Hi Everyone, Would anyone know much about the town of Vanceboro Maine? I have a copy of a ticket that my grandmother had to travel to the USA from Pictou Co. Canada. The ticket says Manifest class - E port of Vanceboro ME. I also have a paper with of a list or manifest of Alien passengers applying for admission to the states. From what I can find out Vanceboro is on land so it must have been by train. I guess it is confussing because of the words port of Vanceboro make it sound the ticket was for a ship or is this just a paper that she had to apply for to allow her to enter the USA. Any comment would be appreciated. Thanks Harriet
