Chronicle Herald March 27, 2007 WALSH, Frances "Doris" - 82, 227 North Ave., New Glasgow, died March 26, 2007, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Tracadie, she was a daughter of the late Hubert and Theresa (Myette) Myette. Doris was a resident of New Glasgow all her married life where she worked at Bagnell's Drycleaning, Quality Cleaners and the Peter Pan Motel. She was a member of Our lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton. In her younger years, Doris worked at St. Martha's Hospital in Antigonish. She loved to play cards and bingo. Doris was best-known for selling her baked bread and sweets at the local flea markets. She is survived by her husband James, New Glasgow; sons, Raymond (Lynn), New Glasgow; Les (Kenda), New Glasgow; daughter Linda (Gerald) d'Entremont, Merigomish; seven grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Joe) Fougere, Frankville; Theresa (Edgar) MacPhee, William's Point. She was predeceased by brothers, Joseph, Alphonse, Lawrence, William, Francis, and Anthony; sisters, Louise Myette and Catherine Decoste. Her remains will rest in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visiting from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Father Francis Cameron officiating. Burial will be held in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Doris may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or to a charity of one's choice.
