Hi Vanceboro is on the St. Croix river, in Washington County, Maine. It is inland slightly north-west of Lubec, about 50 miles, as the crow flies, which is at the mouth of the St. Croix.. Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick, Canada is just east of Lubec. I hope this helps. Port is the customs and immigration term for an entry point to a country. -----Original Message----- From: scanbar@prodigy.net To: can-ns-antigonish@rootsweb.com Sent: Thu, 19 Apr 2007 9:55 AM Subject: Re: [Antigonish] [antigonish] vanceboro, Maine --passenger list Hi Vanceboro is on the St. Croix river, in Washington County, Maine.
