Chronicle Herald April 25, 2007 JONES, Gerald E. - 66, Addington Forks, Antigonish Co., passed away suddenly on April 23, 2007, in Guysborough. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Harry and Odessa (Dort) Jones of Roachvale, Guysborough Co. Gerald was a self-employed auto mechanic. He operated Gerald E. Jones Enterprises for over 30 years. He was a member of Sunrise 116 Masonic Lodge, the Northeastern Christmas Tree Association and Nova Scotia Forestry Products. He was past member of the Antigonish Kinsmen Club. Gerald loved the outdoors, particularly hunting, fishing, tending his Christmas trees and spending time with his dog at the camp. He is survived by his wife, the former Linda Fancy; daughter, Sherry (John) Huston, Edmonton; sons, Gerald, Truro; Stephen (Lana), Grand Prairie, Alta.; grandchildren, Cindy, Antigonish; Jonathan, Grand Prairie; brother, Wilbur, William's Lake, B.C.; half-brother, Harry, Brockville, Ont. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish, where funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dawn Dickieson presiding. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
