Surnames: NICHOLS, REID I am looking for validation/verification of a marriage between a James Nichols (born about 1788 in Glasgow, Scotland) and a Harriet Ann Reid about 1856. I believe they may have been married in Antigonish. I am not able to take the line of James Nichols back to Scotland. Might someone on this list have a relationship with this particular individual? Harriet was born about 1819 in Antigonish County. I do not have a birthplace, but believe that she was the daughter of Jonathon Reid and Olivia Martin.
