Halifax Herald June 3, 2004 MacLEAN, Bellann - 80, Antigonish, formerly of Cross Roads Ohio, Antigonish Co., died June 1, 2004, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness. Born in Fraser's Mills, Antigonish Co., she was a daughter of the late William and Janet (Cameron) MacDonald. For over 20 years, she was a lab clerk at St. Martha's Hospital, where she was loved and respected by her coworkers, Bellann had a great love and concern for her family and friends, and genuinely enjoyed people, her Celtic heritage, knitting, oil painting, her flowers, and nature in general. She was a member of St. Josephs C.W.L., St. Josephs, and St. Ninian's C.W.L., Antigonish, having received her 50 year pin for her dedication. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are daughters, Janann (Stanley) Smith, Charlotte Murray, Mary Dianne (Tom) Young, Carol-Anne (Peter) MacKenzie, all of Antigonish; son, John (Bonita), St. Josephs; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Willard; son, Joseph; sons, Colin and Jimmy in infancy; grandson, Neil; sons-in-law, David Murray, Harry Barnhill; sister, Mary Anna; brothers, John Archie, Angus, Allan, Donald. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, in MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish. Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Antigonish, Rev.
