Halifax Herald August 5, 2004 MacEACHERN, Margaret "Peggy" - 84, R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, formerly of Highland Drive, Antigonish, passed away peacefully August 3, 2004, in the nursing home. Born in Livingstone Cove, Antigonish Co., she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (MacInnis) MacEachern. Peggy was employed a number years at St. F.X. University, and Sears Store, Antigonish. She was an avid card player, and a great fan of hockey and baseball. She was a member of St. Ninian's CWL. Surviving are sons, Bill (Karen), Fairmont; Jack (Liz), Pleasant Valley; Edward (Patty), Hampton, N.B.; daughter, Debby (Jim) McCarron, North Grant; grandchildren, Mark, Sean, Rianne, Kyle, Kendra, Jonathon, Jason, Travis, Megan, Patrick, Craig; sisters, Rita MacDonald, Kay Gillis, both of Antigonish. She was predeceased by her husband, Angus MacEachern; brothers, Mark, John Hugh; sisters, Florence Schilling, Ruth Diggins, Thelma Burke, Elizabeth MacEachern; twin brothers in infancy. Visitation will be held from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Antigonish, Rev. Andrew Boyd officiating. Burial in St. Ninian's Cemetery.
