Halifax Herald August 11, 2004 DELANEY, Constance Marie "Connie" - 55, Smith Avenue, Springhill, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2004, at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of Isabel (Moore) Mac Eachern, Antigonish and the late Morrison MacEachern. At the time of her death she was employed at the Springhill branch of CIBC and had worked at various branches throughout Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. She is survived by her loving husband, Harold James Delaney; son, Michael, Springhill; daughter, Sarah, Springhill; brothers, Douglas (Marg) Mac Eachern, Edmonton, Alta.; Joseph (Doris) MacEachern, Paul MacEachern and Gregory (Elaine) MacEachern, all of Antigonish; sisters, Gail McKenna, Mary Alice (Francis) MacKinnon, both of Antigonish; Heather (Gord) McNeil, Fort McMurray, Alta.; Susan Jorgensen, Beaver Bank; mother-in-law, Mary Delaney, Antigonish; special aunt, Mary Margaret MacEachern, Antigonish; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by nephew, James McKenna. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. this evening in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, followed by visitation from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in C.L. Curry Funeral Services Ltd., Antigonish on Thursday, August 12. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 13, in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Ballantyne's Cove, Antigonish Co., Father Daniel MacDonald officiating. Burial in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Ballantyne's Cove, Antigonish Co. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
