Halifax Herald August 3, 2004 BOYLE, J.J. Connor - 93, Bayfield, Antigonish Co., passed away August 1, 2004, in R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Born in Bayfield, he was a son of the late William and Mary (Connors) Boyle. Connor was a farmer and fisherman all of his life. Surviving are his wife, Effie (Dodge-Trenholm) Boyle, Greenwold Manor, Antigonish; children, Cyril (Judy), Edmonton; Phyllis (Danny) Connors, Addington Forks; Gerard (Yvonne), Bayfield; Betty (Francis) Juurlink, St. Andrews; George (Leona), Bayfield; Ambrose (Celeste), Clive, Alta.; sister, Kathleen Chisholm, Antigonish Manor; brother, James Boyle, Antigonish; stepchildren, Wayne, Linda, Sandra, Keith and Dale Trenholm; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his first wife, Florence (Kavanaugh); sister, Marcella Fraser; brother, Ambrose; daughter-in-law, Eileen. Visitation will be in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish, today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Heatherton. Burial in the parish cemetery.
