Chronicle Herald March 7, 2007 DELOREY, Martha E. - 94, Greenwold Manor, Antigonish, formerly of Tracadie, passed away on March 6, 2007, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Tracadie, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Pettipas) Delorey. Martha was postmistress at the Tracadie Post Office for over 18 years and also worked at the Mulgrave Fish Plant for many years. She was a member of St. Peter's CWL for over 40 years and was a member of the Tracadie Seniors Club and Greenwold Manor Auxiliary. She loved to play cards and bingo. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Edward, James, and Augustus; sisters, Agnes Doran, Mabel Doran, Margaret Penny, Ellen Olsten, and Mary Delorey. Visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and from 12-1:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Place, Tracadie. Funeral will be held in St. Peter's Church on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Barry presiding.
