    3. Hi, Listers, The below Mrs. Cassie J. (MacGregor) Bonnell originally from Upper South River, Antigonish Co., NS is an obvious distant relative of mine, since that is where she was born, as a MacGregor. I too was born in Massachusetts, in Cambridge, Mass. However, I do not recognize the names of this Cassie's relatives in her obituary. My dad, the late Dr. Judson Stewart MacGregor, of Boston, Mass. and Milton, Mass., had a first cousin named Cassie MacGregor, she of Boston, Mass., but the below Mrs. Cassie (MacGregor) Bonnell is not the same Cassie. Dad's uncle, John Nelson MacGregor of South River Lake, Antigonish Co., Nova Scotia, married an Ina Chisholm, and the latter's family was from Salt Springs, NS. Can any of you listers give me the parentage or ancestors of the below Mrs. Cassie J. (MacGregor) Bonnell's parents, James MacGregor and his wife, latter born Mary MacGregor? Do any of you have any contact with the surviving families of this Mrs. Cassie J. (MacGregor) Bonnell's, such as with her sons, George E. Bonnell, of Littleton, Mass., or of Norman E. Bonnell of Westbury, Long Island, New York, or of the Chisholm family formerly of Littleton, Mass.? Linda Darling, may I have the complete obituary, if you have it, of this Mrs. Cassie J. (MacGregor) Bonnell? Thanks, all, for your efforts, in advance. 3. Hi, Listers, I'm making a correction from my email shown below. I now remember, belatedly, that my dad, Dr. Judson Stewart MacGregor of Boston & Milton, Mass. below, born 12 August 1883 in New Glasgow, Pictou Co., NS to Rev. Peter Stewart MacGregor born ca. 1853 South River Lake, Antigonish Co., NS. & to Bessie Hatfield (Elizabeth Maria Hatfield) born 1859 Tusket, Yarmouth Co., NS, (that my dad) had a first cousin named Cassie or Catherine MacMillan of Boston, Mass. The latter (born probably in Antigonish Co.) nee MacMillan, never married, was his MacGregor 1st cousin, but she was born a MacMillan, not a MacGregor. Nevertheless, I still think the below Mrs. Cassie J. (MacGregor) Bonnell is a blood relative of mine, merely due to the fact that she was born a MacGregor or McGregor in Upper South River, Antigonish Co., NS!
