    3. Halifax Herald October 4, 2004 DELOREY, Charlotte - 93, Tracadie, Antigonish Co., passed away on October 2, 2004, at home. Born in Cape Jack, she was a daughter of the late William and Florence (Pettipas) DeCoste. Charlotte was a teacher having taught for over 35 years in schools in Antigonish County. She was the first president of St. Peter's C.W.L. and was a recipient of the C.W.L. 40 Year Pin. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association of Nova Scotia and a member of the Tracadonians Senior Citizen's Club. She is survived by daughters, Nan (Wayne) Rock, Mahone Bay; Patsy (Norman) Neville, Stoney Creek, Ont.; Christine (Gary) Hesson, Barrie, Ont.; sons, Vince (Anita), Afton, George (Iris), Milton, Ont.; Frank (Laura), Dartmouth; Herbie (Pauline), Tracadie; Bill (Virginia), Lake Echo; sister, Kay (Francis) Bowman, Monastery; brother, Ambrose (Margaret), Dundas, Ont.; grandchildren, Robert and Richard Rock, Nicky Johnson, Laura Kate, Dustin and Darren Delorey, Michael Delorey and Karen Williams, Timothy and Adam Delorey, Raylene Charon, Roxanne Pettipas, Collette Neville, Michael Hesson, Jason and Shawn Delorey; brother-in-law, Raymond Delorey, Tracadie; Ottis Delorey, Hamilton, Ont.; Frank Delorey, New Glasgow; sister-in-law, Florence Landry, Afton; 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent; daughter, Alice; granddaughter, Monique; sisters, Rose and Claire; brothers, Ben, Bill, Charlie, Michael, Bernard, Melvin and Warren. Visitation will be in St. Peter's Place, Tracadie, from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, October 5. Funeral will be Wednesday, October 6, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, Tracadie, Rev. John Barry officiating, assisted by Monsignor Robert Donnelly. Burial in the parish cemetery.
