    3. Looking for any info on Mary Long, born 6/11/09. She grew up in the Salmon River area, and for John Alexander Chisholm, born 10/5/06. He grew up in Antigonish and also lived in Heatherton. Thanks! SueNY

Also: - Do you know the 'nickname' of the CHISHOLM family? In some families (M'DONALDs and CHISHOLMs come immediately to mind) there would be so many in an area, that to distinguish them, the families had nicknames. Some were locational (Schoolhouse, the Bridge, the Ridge), some had to do with occupation (Miller, Smith). This would be in addition to an individual's nickname(s). - In addition to the above cited nicknames, people were also known by parents' (generally father's) names - do you know any of those? - I'm guessing that John Alexander and Mary were married? Do you have any more information on them? Date of marriage? Place of marriage? Children? Any more detail you can fill in here will help you find them.
