Page 58 # 1678 CHISHOLM, JOHN, ba about 1832, from Strathglass, INV son of ANGUSKENNETH CHISHOLM and ISOBEL to Antigonish Co. NS about 1833 Settled Brierly Brook. Married ELIZABETH MCLEAN children MARGARET, ANGUS, JOHN, BELLA, COLIN, VALENTINE, KENNETH, ANNE, DANIEL, FLORANCE. The biography for this information in the book refers to a "Genealogical Newsletter of the genealogical committee of the Nova Scotia Historical Society 1972-1982." page 58 # 1685 CHISHOLM, MARY from INV to Pictou co. NS, 1816 settled Hopewell married MCLEAN RODERICK(pg 283#8129)children HECTOR, DONALD, NEIL went to AUS. #1703 pg 59 CHISHOLM WILLIAM Born about 1831 from Strathgrass, INV. son of DONALD C. and ISABELLA to Monks HEAD, Antigonish co. NS 1832 married MARGARET MACDONALD 2nd wife ELIZABETH MACLEAN children with both wives.

    1. John W. CHISHOLM & Mary "Minnie" CHISHOLM

    3. Looking for any info on John W. CHISHOLM and Mary "Minnie" CHISHOLM. He was born in 1866 in Glassburn, N.S. and died in 1915. He was married to Mary "Minnie" CHISHOLM, who was born in 1871 and died in 1972. They are buried in Heatherton Cemetery along with their son Colin, who died in 1973. They had 9 children: Cassie, Florence, Margaret, John Alexander, Jennie, Mary, Anna, Colin, and Bernard. I believe Mary died in infancy. Colin lived in the home of Alex Chisholm, the first Chisholm to come to N.S. Sue
