Have been researching my line, Huge Grant, for a number years but was to a brick-wall. Would appreciate any inforamtion that you can share on this family. My Hugh Grant left Nova Scotia and came to California in about 1868. Hugh told his son, (my grandfather) that he was born in Pictou County as that is were Angus and Jane had a farm at that time.
