It was helpful to get the ref to the Waldren Studios archives @ Dalhousie Univ., as well as the references to two books with info on the McLeans & Grants of Keppoch. My paternal grandmother was MaryAnn/Molly McLean, dau of Archibald and Nancy Grant McLean. I believe Archibald was the eldest son of Lauchlan and Elizabeth Campbell McLean. Family lore says their land grant was at Keppoch, later known as Mayfield. I would be interested in sharing more of the research I have on these families.
