Born in Antigonish, she was the daughter of the late John Frederick and Mary Elizabeth (MacGILLIVRAY) CHISHOLM. (A long obit........"she went on to join the Navy and served in Nova Scotia during the Second World War. One evening in 1946 she asked Air Force Veteran Hugh J. MacPherson to play his piano rendition of "I've Been Working on the Railroad".
