Chronicle Herald August 2, 2007 MATTIE, Robert "Wayne" - 58, East Tracadie, Antigonish Co., passed away on August 1, 2007, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital Antigonish. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Matilda (Bonvie) Mattie. Wayne enjoyed music and loved to entertain with his accordion and guitar. He was well-known and appreciated for his meticulous nature and care for vehicles and the family property. He is survived by brother, Bert (Nora) Campbellville, Ont.; sisters, Joyce (Bob) DeCoste, St. Catharines, Ont.; Diane (Bill) Wenners, Somersworth, N.H.; Marilyn Kozoriz, Toronto; Jean (George) Fitzgerald, Brampton, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at Wayne's request. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, Tracadie, with Rev. John Barry presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery.
