Chronicle Herald October 24, 2007 CHISHOLM, Dennis Wilfred - A memorial mass to celebrate the life and death of the late Dennis Wilfred Chisholm, 52, Vancouver, B.C., will be held Friday, October 26, 2007, at 1 p.m. in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Antigonish, with Rev. Andrew Gillies officiating. Dennis passed away peacefully on October 19, 2007, in Saint Paul's Hospital, Vancouver. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Maurice and Evangeline (Arsenault) Chisholm, North Grant, Antigonish Co. Dennis attended Canso Regional Vocational School, Port Hawkesbury. Dennis had a lifetime passion for sports, but especially loved baseball and softball. An exceptionally talented first baseman, Dennis played several years with Ranch in the AGR League and the Antigonish Bulldogs in the Nova Scotia Senior "A" Fastball League. Throughout his lifetime, Dennis was employed in the construction industry. A man of many talents, Dennis will always be loved and remembered as an individual who was always on the go and who lived life to the fullest. Along with his parents, Dennis is survived by sisters, Linda (David Code), Carbon, Alta.; Betty Lou (Dan Chisholm), Fall River; Michelle (Mark Lamers), Lower South River, Antigonish Co.; brothers, Edward (Sarah), North Grant, Antigonish; Kevin, Edmonton, Alta.; Wayne, Trenton; Darryl and Alastair, North Grant, Antigonish Co.; many nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his brother, Shawn Michael, and his grandparents, Frank and Mary Chisholm, and Wilfred and Jean Arsenault.
