Chronicle Herald October 13, 2007 LANDRY, Adrian Francis - 96, Afton, Antigonish Co., passed away October 11, 2007, in Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born in Afton on May 30, 1911, he was a son of the late Peter and Marguerite (Fougere) Landry. Adrian worked as local road foreman with the Department of Highways for 14 years. He loved the outdoors and also worked cutting wood, Christmas trees and buying lobsters. Surviving are daughters, Doris Richard, Afton; Rose (Dave), Charlottetown; sons, Joe (Theresa) Landry, Afton; Bernard (Janie), Oshawa, Ont.; Jimmy, Toronto; Donnie (Cecilia), Halifax; Gary (Theresa), Afton; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Florence (2005); brothers, Bernard, Eugene and Leonard. Visitation will be in St. Peter's Place, Tracadie, on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held in St. Peter's Church, Tracadie, at 11 a.m. on Monday with Rev. Patrick O'Neil presiding.
