Halifax Herald September 20, 2004 McINNIS (Ross), Margaret Mary - 75, MacKinnon Street, Antigonish, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2004, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Sarah (MacDonnell) Ross. Margaret attended Iona High School, graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 1952 and later taught in Nova Scotia, Quebec and Yellowknife. Surviving are her husband, Murvin E. McInnis; sons, Hugh Patrick, Antigonish; Ross Christopher (Natalie), Calgary; granddaughter, Jillian Johnson. She will also will be missed by niece, Jennifer Ross, and nephew, John Ross, Toronto; beloved cousins, as well as a number of nieces and nephews of husband, Murvin. She was predeceased by brothers, Billy and Dan Ross. No visitation at her request. Liturgy of Christian Burial 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Rev. Ray Huntley presiding. Reception to follow in St. Ninian Place. Committal service will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Tracadie, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Flowers gratefully declined.
