Hello, Is there anyone on the list doing older genealogy research? I have a Mooney (Andrew Mooney my ggggg grandfather) family who settled in Canada from Ireland in 1828. I have information on another Mooney family who came over in 1830 Henry Mooney and then his son Robert. Many members of both of these families settled on Prince Edward Island but I cannot find if they are contected. My ggg grandfather Andrew (the grandson of the first Andrew) was born in Pictou County, Nova Scotia and married a Catherine Kelly also born Nova Scotia. They had their family there and left Middle River Pictou in 1871 for Lonaconing, Maryland, USA. A Michael and Bridget (Kelly) Fitzpatrick also came down from Nova Scotia to Lonaconing and I have been trying to contact them to my Kelly as well. There were Nolans in Nova Scotia and there were Nolans in Lonaconing, I don't know if they are the same Nolans, the with Walsh, and Murray.
