Halifax Herald September 7, 2004 FRASER, Stephen Edward - 72, Highland Drive, Antigonish, passed away on September 3, 2004, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in St. Andrews, Antigonish Co., he was a son of the late John and Margaret (Carroll) Fraser. Stephen was employed at St. F.X. University for over 40 years as a cook and in various maintenance capacities. He is survived by his wife, the former Bernice Mac-Eachern; sisters, Cassie, Jane, and Anne Deveau, all of Antigonish; Mary Quirk, Toronto; Chrissie MacDonald, Sudbury; brothers, Alexander, Beauly; Bill, Sudbury; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, Antigonish, on Sunday. Funeral service was held Monday, September 6, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Rev. Andrew Boyd officiating.
