Chronicle Herald February 23, 2007 MacDONALD, Anna Mary - 94, R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, formerly of Maryvale, Antigonish Co., died Thursday, February 22, 2007, in the home. Born in Maryvale, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (MacGillivray) MacKinnon. She was a school teacher, a source of local history and Gaelic culture, and a descendant of John "The Piper" MacGillivray. Surviving are daughter, Rita (Patrick) DeCoste, Monastery; sons, Peter (Mary E.) MacDonald, Michael (Mary A.) MacDonald, Maryvale; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Eugene Gerrior; second husband, Dougald Hector MacDonald; brother, D.J. MacKinnon. Visitation Saturday 7-9 p.m., Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 10: 30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Maryvale, Rev.
