    3. Chronicle Herald February 23, 2007 LANDRY, Joseph "Leslie" - 84, Heatherton, passed away February 22, 2007, in R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish, with his family by his side. Born in Afton, he was a son of the late Isadore J. and Ellen Marie (Pettipas) Landry. Les was a dedicated father and was loved and respected by young and old. His home was always open to friends and family. He was an avid gardener. He worked at Breton Industries in Point Tupper for over 15 years and was a resident of the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home for the past four years. He is survived by his former wife, Theresa (DeCoste); children, Elaine, Laurie and Melvin (Lisa), all of Truro; Jeannie (John), Afton; grandchildren, Bradley, Robin, Mathew, Terri, Cindy, Emily, Nico, Kristina, Katelyn, Summer; great-grandchild, Lesley; brother, Leo (Emma), Afton; sister, Bernadette, Pomquet; stepdaughter, Lorena (Dave) Bowser, Liscomb; sister-in-law, Joyce, British Columbia; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Sylvester, Finlay, Aloysius; brother-in-law, Hubert Landry, and sister-in-law, Ellen Landry. Visitation in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish, on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Heatherton, with Rev.
