"Peggy" - 84, 53 Fatima St., Antigonish, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, April 29, 2007, in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish. Born August 22, 1922, in Lennox, Antigonish Co., Peggy was a daughter of the late Daniel R. and Mary Harriet (MacDougall) MacGillivray. A mother to nine children, Peggy was a full-time homemaker, a vocation at which she had no equal. She and Rod retired to Antigonish in 1983. Always active in the community, Peggy enjoyed bowling, curling, dancing and especially cards. She enjoyed nothing better than a game of 45s at the Arisaig Hall. Peggy treasured her summers at the cottage in Doctor's Brook, Antigonish, Co., with her sisters nearby and children and grandchildren dropping by.
