Chronicle Herald May 31, 2007 GRACE, Donald A. - 76, a resident of the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, formerly of Brookland Street, Antigonish, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2007, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital. Born in Antigonish, June 9, 1930, he was a son of the late Dan and Mary Ann (MacDonald) Grace. Donald was previously employed by the Antigonish Regional School Board in maintenance and was in the painting and contracting business in New Jersey for a number of years. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan and the owner, trainer and driver of Standard Bred horses that raced in the Maritimes. Surviving are son, Terry (Darlene), Brampton, Ont.; daughter, Suzanne, Grand River, Ont.; grandsons, Jordan and Adam, Brampton, Ont.; sisters, Bertha McCabe (George), Central Bedeque, P.E.I.; Theresa MacDonald, Portland, Me.; Margaret MacNeil (Pius), Dover, N.H.; Phil Campbell (Greg), Antigonish; Marie Finnigan (John), Foxboro, Mass.; brothers, John (Claire), Antigonish; Jerome (Marg), Whiting, N.Y.; Roddie (Shirley), Florida; sisters-in-law, Kay Grace, Sydney; Cecilia Grace, California; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary K. (MacDonald), RN; brother, Bernard; and brother-in-law, J.B. MacDonald. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Funeral 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Rev. Ray Huntley presiding.
