They are in the 1911 census for Antigonish with three of their sons. Matthew and Mary emigrated to the USA in 1873, and had at least seven children while in Massachusetts. In 1904 they moved back to NS. US census for 1900 says Mary gave birth to 11 children, 8 still living in 1900. Matthew born 1844 or 1846 in NS. Mary born 1855 in NS or PEI.
