Married 1787 at the age of 25.Her father was William Clark, farmer, 42 years old; Born 1733. Sister Rachael, 3 years old; Born 1772. Brother Richard, 9 years old; Born 1766; and Brother William, 10 years old; Born 1765. Joseph Clayton and Mary Clarke were married 20 Nov 1787.(microfilm no. 15926). The records of Trinity Anglician Church in Digby (built 1785) gives the names of four of Joseph and Mary Clayton's children as: 1. Joseph Clayton Jr; born 22 Sep 1788. 2. Paddy Clayton; born 1790. 3.
