I started researching my family tree about 2 years ago. And at first was not getting any information on my mothers side of the family. Then I started communicating with family on the East Coast. Now I have a starting point. I am currently looking for information on Williams Family. I can get as far back to Jasper Williams born 1769 died 1844. He married Sara Fairn a descendant of the Rice Family. Rice Family I have no problem tracing but I can not find anything on Jasper Williams. I also have that "according to his son John, Jasper was born in Wales." If anyone can help please let me know. Thanks. Tammy Sacerty

I am also interested in the Williams family. I am looking for information on my great-grandmother, Isabella Williams, who married Ansley Elliott on Nov. 24, 1869 and lived in Port George, Nova Scotia until her death in 3 Oct 1900. According to the marriage certificate Isabella was born in Canada (present day Ontario or Quebec?). Her parents were John and Julia Williams. We think that she may have gone to school in Westport, Nova Scotia. The children of Isabella and Ansley were: Annie Elliott m. Leonard Schafner Samuel Elliott Lucina (Lou) Elliott m. Mr. Vroom and Mr. Perry Bessie Bell Elliott m. George Reagh Frank Elliott m. Ella M. Chipman (my grandparents) Joseph Elliott Thomas Elliott m. Ida Young Lizzie Elliott m. John Anderson I am particularly interested in any information about Isabella's background. Where she was born and anything about her parents/ancestry.
