    1. [ANNAPOLIS] 1911 Census -- Your Petitions Are Really Needed
    2. Muriel M. Davidson
    3. To all interested in release of the 1911 census records:- Three petitions have been given a new, clear, sharp look, and when translation is completed, the French language ones will also be changed. In the meantime, the present ones are fine. The committee members have grown in number -- it became difficult to pick which ones to represent his/her province. Instead, the site address for all committee members is posted. http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~downhome/committee.html Signatures received for the Senate will be tabulated Oct. 31, and the number will be announced as a total only.. When petitions are received in Ottawa by Senator Lorna Milne or by Murray Calder, MP, the petitions are presented - thus the number of signatures is added to Hansard pages. http://www.globalgenealogy.com/Census/Petition.htm Please download and obtain signatures -- this is our only PROOF we can offer to attest to the fact the census records are wanted. Addresses where to send petitions are on the first page Attachments are available if anyone has downloading trouble. Muriel M.
