Thanks Gene. My Farnsworth line is Amos Farnsworth. He came to the Annapolis area in 1760 and returned to Groton, MA (from which he had originally come) in 1775. He and his son drowned in the Nashau River. I am not sure where his wife, Lydia Longley Farnsworth is buried. I think probably in NS as she didn't return to Groton when he and their son did. Amos is descended from Matthias Farnsworth, b 1612 in Lancaster, England and came to Lynn MA and later settled in Groton. I think the Joel Farnsworth you refer to is the son of Amos' brother Jonas.
