Hi list, I am researching BURNS, GOLDSMITH, LONGLEY, TUPPER, MCKAY, PALFREY, and related families in Annapolis County. Up till just over 2 years ago, I lived in Halifax [born & raised]. Am now residing in London, Ontario. I also have a site on Rootsweb where I loaded transcriptions from the Acadian Recorder, a Halifax Newspaper in the 1800s. Due the move, and lack of access to the resource the page hasn't been added to for some time. Sue Burns
Hello Sue:- This is not a roll call memo - your new "caretaker" of the list knows enough about me!!! I have always been fascinated with all the memos from Acadian Recorder and other older newspapers -- how we learn of the past years. Do you have a web page? Or do you wish a home for a list? I am able to offer space on my homepage -- in company with many other Nova Scotian lists. http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~downhome/ Let me know, please! Muriel M.
