    3. Thanks to all who responded to my request. The abstracts were interesting but unfortunately no luck. The cemetery listings, on NS web page, did not contain any information on Edward Talbot. I did find some cemetery listings on LDS and I will be ordering those films. I am sure that Edward Talbot died before 1800 - his widow and children were back in NY by then and in the late 1800s, someone made extensive copies of pages from Edward's journal which tells me that the journal went to NY with the family. Although Edward's wife was of the Dutch Reformed faith, I believe Edward was Church of England. The LDS tapes I am ordering have transcriptions from cemeteries for a couple of the churches in Annapolis, if anyone knows of any other transcriptions anywhere, please let me know. Thank you very much. Karl MacEachron Fresno CA

    3. Karl: I don't know if you have this information or not. In the Ward Chipman papers, of which they have a copy at the Public Archives in Halifax, there is a Muster Roll of Discharged Officers and Disbanded Soldiers and Loyalists that was taken in the County of Annapolis between the 18th and 24th days of June, 1784. On this listing, is Edward Talbot, showing one man, one woman and three children under the age of ten. He is listed as a loyalist, and that he settled at Granville. He does not appear in the Granville Township Book. Ric
