This morning I received a message from John M. Reid, Information Commissioner of Canada. He indicated that he anticipates signing his findings regarding our complaints against Statistics Canada next week. He indicated that there were over 90 complaints, and that while there were similarities, there were also differences to be dealt with in each finding. He gave no indication regarding what those responses would contain. He felt that by the end of next week they will be in the mail. As when we encouraged ATI requests to Statistics Canada and then complaints to the Information Commissioner to be made, it would be appreciated if you would send me copies of Mr. Reid's responses when you receive them.
