To all who desire 1911 and later census records released:- I am very certain there is a new "job description" for the office staff of both Members of Parliament and Senators -- "Deletion of Emails". Although I am using a computer to type this, believe it or not, a hand-written letter will possibly be read -- even answered. If you wish to send many (free postage) write up a simple and short letter -- using only ONE side of regular paper, even ruled! Leave a space for name and address of the Parliamentarian, and above all, add your complete address, even phone number. Dash off to the nearest printer {or do it yourself) then write in the name and address of each MP or Senator plus SIGN it. Pop the one-page letter in an envelope, address it to NAME, House of Commons, Ottawa, ON K1A 0A6 or NAME, The Senate of Canada, Ottawa, ON K1A 0A4 To assist you in writing your letter try using these sites http://www.globalgenealogy.com/Census/Index6.htm http://www.globalgenealogy.com/Census/Senscore1.htm [Use these sites for NAMES only -- not email] Remember -- what we seek is the SAME, UNRESTRICTED access, 92 years after collection, to Census records after 1906 that we currently have for 240 years of records up to that time -- the 1911 census! Parliament is in recess this week. Chances are good that you can catch your MP or Senator in his/her constituency office. Give it a try. Let me know of their support or otherwise -- particularly if it differs from the position shown on the Scoreboard of the Post 1901 Census Project website.
