To all -- When chatting with Tony Clement this morning, I learned my electoral district/area will be Brampton West -- HIS area. [He was one of the candidates in recent leadership convention] At the same time, although unelected at present, we have a GOLD tick in favor of census release. I tried searching for updated maps of the ridings for the coming election -- found only the old ones which apply to present ridings, and of course, present Members of Parliament. Would like to see the NEW maps on the screen if possible! There must be a site which shows this -- I seem to have exhausted all. Reason:- Electoral areas will be different with the coming election, some Members of Parliament are not seeking re-election. We need to confront the incoming candidates and question him or her about their decision of census release. If many wish to be elected, and if many constituents are researchers, their answer should REMAIN "YES". I already have the list of new ridings -- Gordon Watts forwarded it to me -- but it can only be sent by attachment at present. Muriel M.
