    3. As you are likely aware, I have been "listsitting" Christine's lists for the last couple of weeks while she has been away attending a funeral. She is now back home in Ontario, but she was kind enough to offer this list to me on a permanent basis and have accepted. I hope she will remain on as a subscriber. Do not look for any great changes, as Christine and I seem to do things largely the same way. I follow the RootsWeb AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) when it comes to content of posts and their topic, and anything posted here is acceptable so long as it is allowed under RootsWeb's current policies and is related to genealogy in Annapolis County. If there are any questions, I invite anyone to contact me privately at the address in my signature lines below. I am descended from the Sir Thomas Cann, born ca. 1565 in Bristol, England. Both he and his son Sir William Cann were Lord Mayor of Bristol, and it was Sir William's line that I descend from. They immigrated mostly to the Yarmouth County area (I am Admin of that list and board as well), but also Shelburne and Digby Counties as in addition to Annapolis. Some also wound up in the New England area of the U. S., but when the American Revolution broke out in 1775 a great many of them found it uncomfortable there and further migrated to Nova Scotia, although some families later returned after the war ended. I look forward to working with all of you, and sharing our passion for genealogy. I have actually been a subscriber to this list for quite some time now, but you have not seen much of me because I concentrate my time on the lists that I administer, but you will see much more of me in the future. Please feel free to contact me at any time. If your question is topical for this list, simply post it to the list and I will respond in kind. Otherwise, please write me at any time using the address below. David E. Cann List Admin can-ns-annapolis-admin@rootsweb.com
