I am descended from Harris family. My mother was born in Bear River and her grandmother was Mary Matilda Harris, who married George A. Purdy. Don't see a Geroge Wedon in what I have though Mary Matilda Harris was the daughter of James, who was born in 1787.and married first Marie Clerke and second Sarah Greene.
