    1. Look Up. Manner Sutton Parish? Bridget Lee-Henry A. Sears 1883
    2. Searching for information on Bridget Lee, born about 1862: St. Croix NB . She married Henry A. Sears, April 11, 1883 , Manner Sutton Parish York Co. New Brunswick, Canada. Does anyone know of any towns in this parish? Would anyone be willing to do a 1891 census lookup, please? I couldn't find anything on map quest or Expedia for Manner-Sutton. I am hoping the couple had a family. . Henry was said to be from Carleton Co, NB. I imagine he worked at Shaw Tannery in Vanceboro ME, just across the railroad bridge from St. Croix. St. Croix was Dumfiies Parish, the church St. Clements in McAdam. There are several Sears in the cemetery at St. Croix, no Lee's. (I have checked Cleadie Barnetts website) Bridgets parents were in the 1891 census for St. Croix. I don't know if Henry and Bridget were. I wasn't looking for a Sears. Her brother John's obit read he had two sisters living in the East. I have been assuming Maine. or NB. Bridget's parents: Jeremiah M. (b. 1830)? And Bridget F. O'Malley (1828)? Lee I believe came from WESTPORT IRE. about 1854. They owned property Silas Cove, Chiputnetikook Lake Dumfiies parish New Brunswick from 1877-1903. Jeremiah ran the boarding house/liquor from 1861-1877? in St. Croix. Mother Bridget's, brother Thomas O (1820-1897 and wife Margaret G (1830-1908 are buried in St. Croix NB. with daughters Annie 17, and Jennie 23 and son John. sons: Martin, Mark and Tomey went to Wisconsin with 1st cousin John C. Lee to start another Tannery and Lumber Mill after the Shaw Tannery burned about 1890 in Vanceboro, Maine.(the forest were depleted of Hemlock trees and a synthetic method for making tannic acid had been found)I Bridget and Jeremiah must have been in US by 1854 son 1. John C. Lee born April 12, 1854 New York (cannot from proof) died in Medford Wisconsin 1927. married Sarah Paul b. 1861, three children. John was divorce in 1895. I have tracked this family . The Lee's went to Halifax within the year. Why? family support in Halifax? Job? a dau. born in Halifax.... 2. Mary A. Lee b. Aug 4, 1855 Halifax, Nova Scotia may have married George F. Michaud/Mishou? of Vanceboro. Nov 17. 1884? This family is in the Old Town/Bangor area today. I have contacted them . Mary's obit does not meation a brother or a sister. No Sears attended the funeral. Seeking: 3. BRIDGET LEE b. about 1862? in St. Croix NB. I cannot find her and she may lead me to her parents. I walked the cemeteries in St.Croix and Vanceboro. I have written several parishes and the churches but no one seems to have a list. I am hoping to find descendents of Bridget and Henry Sears that may lead me to the g. grandparents. Help and suggestions are much appreciated. Thank you. Sincerely Susan Lee sjsidaho@aol.com
