But in case I haven't this is what I have and it is the same you have!!! I am still looking for John's wife Mary and where they come from, here in the states or England. That is the story that came down to my Uncle in Meductic now deceased. Story went thusly, John and Mary Porter came from England, he was a goldsmith and on finding no work went back to England. We now know that is not true as he was a Loyalist!!! I am going crazy trying to find either one of them. Sometimes I think I have found them and then the dates don't match. Dot
