Robin, Your Brewers married into our Yerxas. Evidently both families were Loyalists from NY. Here's an excerpt from "The Madam Keswick" by Sylvia Yerxa Sharpe, p. 26... "The tracts of land were assigned as follows: (among others) New York Volunteers - the Keswick Stream... "Some eighty-five New York Volunteers were assigned land on the Madam Keswick River: John Althouse, Cornelius Brewer, Joseph and Peter Haines, Michael Hawkins, Nicholas Humphrey, James and Jonathan Sisson, Frances, Henry and Thomas Staples, Jacob and Philip Williams and John Yerxa were among those listed."
