We have a poor copy of a law suit dated 1804 filed 1817. It was filed in Frederickton York Co. NB Plainteff was DAVID HARKEY, and defendant was ABIEL BRIGGS. a JAMES PETERS name was also used. Also a Gagetown. My main research is Harkey . David Harkey was a Loyalist and came from North Carolina . He was shipped to Canada in 1783 June Fleet. Ship Amity's Production David had a wife and 6 children who we have lost all trace of. They were not on the ship We do not know if this lawsuit was for David the Loyalist or maybe a son?
