Oh my, I know I was into the Gagetown pages. I also have Hersey in my Porter, Dickinson, Fanjoy, Chase family. Can't remember which one now. But her family came from Massachusetts A samuel Hersey was granted lot #31 for 123 acres near Jemseg River on Grand Lake in Canning Queens Co., NB source is NB Land Grants 128. In the book Pioneers of Massachusetts there is a William Hersey in Hingham, Ma 1638 and he had a dau Elicabeth who m Moses Gilman, Judith m Humphrey Wilson. he di 1658 wife was Elizabeth, ch. William John James Frances Elizabeth Judith, gr. ch. John Croade and William Hersie. Cousin John Farrington, Thomas Marsh and son in law Richard Croade. I will check and see who my Hersey is.
