    3. I don't have the 1871 census for York Co. But in my site for York Co., I did find the following. Stanley Parish 1881 pg 56 Robert Watt age 57 line 20 Charles Grant age 40 NS line 22 Grant, Charles b NS age 40 garmhand Margaret A. age 28, John Watt age 9, Jannet age 3 Robert Watt farmer age 57 b Scotland and Rachel W. age 52 b Ireland. Briggs James age 60 page 68 line 18 wife Susan age 47, Harvey 23, Lowenthe 19, George age 18, Ephraim age 16, John 11, Thomas 9 and Mary J 3 in Southampton Parish 1881 I know you said Queensbury but nothing listed for him there at all As for the Wilkes?? nothing in Douglas or Stanley.
