Hi List, Would anyone with access to the 1870 and 1880 Canadian Census for York County be willing to do a look up for me? I am looking for the surnames Manzer, Hall, Myshrall, especially in the Kingsclear and St. Mary's area. Thank you for your time. Robin
Hi Robin; Contact Fred Bartlett at Bartlett@nbnet.nb.ca<mailto:Bartlett@nbnet.nb.ca> . He has a Frederick Manzer Bartlett in his files. He may know something. Manzer can't be that common a name. Robin I have been editing some transcriptions of the 1881 York census from the original. More than a few of the names as transcribed to the familysearch census are incorrect. I will have a chanced in the next day or so to check on the names you mention. Kingsclear is on the York site, with an index. You can see the actual census pages on the site. Some of my interpretations may be wrong too!! I am working on St Marys and will check it. http://www.rootsweb.com/~nbyork/census.htm Jack Colwell
