I am new to this list and am looking for additional information on the Thomas and John Fraser families of Prince William, Southampton and Dumfries Parish, York Co. I am looking for John Fraser and his wife, Elizabeth Murray in the 1851 and 1861 census. In 1871 John Fraser, b. 1801, was living with his son, S. John Fraser, in Prince William Parish. According to the Southampton Parish in 1901 census which lists his daughter, Rebecca (Fraser) Lockard (wid. of Patrick) she came to NB from Scotland in 1833. She was only a young child, about 10 yrs., so it is quite likely that the family all came together about that time. In 1901 Rebecca was living with her son, William Lockard and wife, Ellen Lynds. John had a brother, Thomas Fraser, who came to NB in 1819 and resided in Pokiok, Dumfries Parish, York Co. Would like to correspond with any descendants of these families and share information.
